Trinity Park pipeline delayed

City Council members unanimously delayed for two weeks a proposal to allow a natural gas pipeline beneath Trinity Park. The pipeline, owned by a subsidiary of Chesapeake Energy, would follow the existing Fort Worth & Western railroad tracks, which run through the park. But the company wants to use a portion of the park to simplify the pipeline’s route. The park, which is just west of downtown, is the centerpiece of Fort Worth’s park system. Parks supporters Charles Dreyfuss and Bernie Scheffler, who spoke on the issue at Tuesday's council meeting, credited Chesapeake with helping preserve the park, but said the city needs to make sure those guarantees are ironclad. Scheffler suggested listing the park as a historic site to preserve it from future encroachment.

" ENCROCHMENT" What an interesting concept. A point I have made in
many of my blogs. Having to do with neighborhood boundries on
drilling for gas. Since the leases and bonus money amount have been
so unfair to many neighborhoods. ENCHROCHMENT

needs to be implemented on Neighborhood boundries, to ensure that
all the wells being drilled for a certain neighborhood to be paid
a royalty are contained with'en their own boundries and are not
violating other property owners. This would include the well pad
site, the pipe lines and disposal wells.

nick & spelling police: What interesting comments you have for this
blog and topic. I am so passionate on this topic of encroachment on
other property owners, excuse me for making some typo errors.
Trust me I'm not the first one. If this is the best and most intelligent thing you have to say, you both need to get a life.

TexasEx- So, your name is Nick.

Congradulations. You finally posted a simple blog without butchering the english language.
