Blogs like a girl

Good morning, Haters. And welcome.

This morning we are kicking off a blog because, well, I read blogs. I like blogs. Blogs are extremely chic. And most importantly, my really big, important – and did I mention very intelligent bosses – want me to enter the blogosphere. Love you all.

Being a blog virgin, of course, I will be feeling my way through this process and am open to all suggestions. Especially ones that begin with “Love your stuff, Jen” and “Tell your bosses to give you a raise”.

I will, however, also entertain recommendations from the 50 percent of you who would prefer I baked cakes for a living. I do not know if a blog requires a mission statement but my plan is to be local, chocked full of news and links and really a more constructive way to channel all of the time I waste surfing the internet and amusing myself with sports stories.

Of course, like the title suggests, I am also a girl. So I will mix in a movie review on you. And book reviews and celeb gossip and politics and my really strange fascination with Kanye West.

My very sketchy plan is: Daily a-Jen-da: Links to stories that may only interest me but hopefully will interest you.

Question of the day: Which will be supplied by you, via my e-mail, answered (hopefully) by me and you and debated by everybody. I’ll handle this task, of providing a query, this morning.

Luv your stuff Jen. Your bosses need to give you a raise. Also think you are hot. Keep smilin'.

Love your stuff Jen. You are awesome. Your boss should give you a raise. It's nice to have females represented in the sports world. Especially one that knows it all and is so right in just about everything you say!! Keep up the good work!

So glad T.O. is doing a fine job this year so far. However, I thought he was great last year. He seems to be one of those "emotional" guys that needs to be recognized for his talents...even when he makes mistakes or has a bad day. It's awesome he has a great quarterback who will throw him the ball and a coach that calls him by name. It's all good. Hooray Hooray T.O.

Jen,

You're great at what you do. Leave the cake baking to my wife! She owns Splendid Bakery, in Arlington.
