Question of the Day: The Jason Witten Edition
First things first, big props to S-T photogs Ron Jenkins and Khampha Bouaphanh for capturing every single second of Witten's bald-headed run to glory. I am still debating what percentage was gutsy and what was just plain crazy.
Of course, typical Witten afterward was acting like every player in the NFL would have had his helmet ripped off by two converging Eagle defenders, stayed on his feet and gone charging for the end zone without any helmet protection for his bare head. Oh. My. Witten. is what I blogged while watching and my appreciation has only grown since then thus leading to my question.
We have Marion The Barbarian and T.O. What seems to be missing is a nickname for Witten. I have racked my brain and come up with zero, zilch, nada.
So your turn: What should Witten's nickname be?

I think the nickname "Sandlot" would convey something of the play that will always be a part of Witten's career.
