Blogs like a girl

Good morning, Haters. And welcome.

This morning we are kicking off a blog because, well, I read blogs. I like blogs. Blogs are extremely chic. And most importantly, my really big, important – and did I mention very intelligent bosses – want me to enter the blogosphere. Love you all.

Being a blog virgin, of course, I will be feeling my way through this process and am open to all suggestions. Especially ones that begin with “Love your stuff, Jen” and “Tell your bosses to give you a raise”.

I will, however, also entertain recommendations from the 50 percent of you who would prefer I baked cakes for a living. I do not know if a blog requires a mission statement but my plan is to be local, chocked full of news and links and really a more constructive way to channel all of the time I waste surfing the internet and amusing myself with sports stories.

Of course, like the title suggests, I am also a girl. So I will mix in a movie review on you. And book reviews and celeb gossip and politics and my really strange fascination with Kanye West.
