Houston: Chase Turner, Punter
The sophomore has punted three times for a 51.3 average and one touchback.
TCU: Derek Wash, Punter
The senior from Arlington has punted four times, averaging 40 yards a punt. He's landed one inside the 20 and has had two touchbacks.
It's all about field position.
Some first-half observations:
* The Cougars have more than a five-minute advantage in time of possession, yet they only lead the Horned Frogs by three.
* Neither team is doing very well on third down. The Frogs are 2-6, the Cougars are 3-8.
* The Coogs have 191 yards of total offense - 177 coming in the air from quarterback Case Keenum.
* The only statistical categories the Frogs lead right now? Yards rushing (57), yards lost to sacks (14), interceptions (1) and penalties (5). Did I mention the Frogs are only down three?
