Rookie signings

The Cowboys are historically late in signing rookie draft picks. Six of the eight picks are signed. However, first-round pick Anthony Spencer and third-round pick James Marten remain unsigned.

Cowboys vice president Stephen Jones said the team's cap flexibility to sign rookies was altered this year because they didn't have a second-round pick.

The other rookies under contract are wide receiver Isaiah Stanback, guard Doug Free, kicker Nick Folk, fullback Deon Anderson, defensive back Courtney Brown and defensive back Alan Ball.
