Cowboys wanted John David Booty

The Cowboys didn't draft a quarterback but they wanted USC's John David Booty. Cowboys vice president Stephen Jones said on Channel 11 last night they were looking hard at the Trojans QB but Minnesota traded up and took him off the board with the second pick in the fifth round.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones felt fine with not drafting a QB and even mentioned adding another veteran free agent in the offseason.

I think Jerry Jones should've lookrd into getting QB Kevin O'Connel from SanDiego he would have worked out good
