T.O. sighting

Terrell Owens is on the field, running down the sidelines and doing crossovers in the endzone.

If this display is to prove his ankle is in good shape, he's doing a good job of it.

T.O. no longer in a boot for injured ankle

Every player who missed Sunday’s game against Washington because of injuries returned to practice Wednesday and should play in the divisional playoff game Jan. 13. Everyone, that is, except for receiver Terrell Owens.

Center Andre Gurode (knee) practiced on a limited basis, while safety Pat Watkins (ankle), cornerback Terence Newman (knee) and nose tackle Jay Ratliff (knee) worked with no problems, coach Wade Phillips said.

But while Owens still isn’t ready to go, he is no longer wearing the walking boot. He has jogged the past couple of days and could practice next Wednesday or Thursday, at least that’s what Phillips hopes will happen.

Phillips said Owens will try to play in the Cowboys first playoff game. The question is how effective he will be and will it set him back for being available for future playoff games?

“He’s shown in the past and I think even in the game when he got hurt he walked off the field and he walked up and down the sideline like he might play again,” Phillips said. “We’d like to have him for more than one.

T.O. is hot

Terrell Owens just went to the sidelines, took off his gloves, slammed them on the bench and started shouting. Tony Romo tried to hit Owens with an out pattern but Lito Sheppard jumped the route and intercepted the pass.

Owens does not have a catch in the first half. He didn't have a catch in the first half last week against Detroit.

T.O.-Donovan

Cowboys receiver Terrell Owens was a elected captain for his matchup with his old team again. He also shared a couple of hugs during the coin toss with Eagles quarterback and former buddy Donovan McNabb.

T.O. talks fashion

To2

Terrell Owens is easily one of the best dressed athletes in the world. He's known for taking style risks (argyle sweaters, anyone?) and isn't afraid to make a statement - much like the white sports coat emblazoned with a Cowboys star that he wore to this year's ESPY awards.

For his birthday party at the Glass Cactus, Owens (pictured above, with his lovely mother Marilyn Heard) wore a velvet tuxedo with satin trim and double flap pockets, along with a percale-print pleated tuxedo shirt and, what's quickly becoming a signature accessory of his, a Windsor-knotted wide tie.

Given time to ask Terrell Owens one question, I knew immediately what it was. Luckily, Owens was nice enough to take the time out from his birthday festivities to answer a few fashion-related questions.

KG: Who dresses you? Or do you pick out your own clothes?
TO: I pick out most of my clothes. I think I'm a pretty good dresser.

KG: You're one of the best-dressed athletes in sports. Have you ever thought about starting your own clothing line? Lots of athletes are doing that these days ...
TO: People have asked me about that. I've thought about it. My mom made a lot of clothes when I was growing up, so I know she instilled that in me.

KG: OK, name your most favorite thing in your closet. Shoes. Shirt. Anything.
TO: Just give me a pair of gym shorts any day. Just shorts.

Happy Birthday, T.O.!

To1_2

Terrell Owens' celebrity birthday bash was held Monday night at the Glass Cactus nightclub on the grounds of the Gaylord Texan.

Themed "December to Remember", Owens used his birthday party as an opportunity to raise money for his Catch a Dream Foundation. He also asked that all those attending bring a stuffed teddy bear, to help 81 needy families in the metroplex.

Linebacker Bradie James showed up with light tan teddy bear. Where'd he get it from? "I got it off Akin Ayodele's bed," James said. James was just one of many Cowboys teammates that showed up to celebrate T.O.'s birthday. Roy Williams, Jason Witten, Anthony Henry, Jason Hatcher, and a date-less Tony Romo were also in attendance, just to name a few.

Serena_2 A few celebrity sightings: Oscar-winner Jamie Foxx (pictured above, greeting Owens), Michelle Williams (Destiny's Child), Tasha Smith (Tyler Perry's "Why Did I Get Married?"), Jill Marie Jones ("Girlfriends), Melody Thornton (Pussycat Dolls), tennis star Serena Williams, former Cowboys receiver and Hall of Famer Michael Irvin and Owens' former teammate with the Eagles, Freddie Mitchell aka FredEx.

Michael Jordan was rumored to be dropping by, and a local TV station reported Jessica Simpson had been spotted.
