With the anniversary of the Columbine massacre anniversary just passed, word comes from South Carolina of a reported plot by a high school senior to carry out a bomb attack against his school.
Police say the plot was detailed in a hate-filled diary that included maps of the school building and notes that expressed admiration of the Columbine killers.
The student, Ryan Schallenberger, 18, was arrested Saturday having been turned in by his parents.
They were alarmed when 10 pounds of ammonium nitrate -- an ingredient that can be used to make a bomb -- was delivered to their home in Chesterfield, S.C. and they discovered their son's journal.
