FBI arrests Texas man who said he would sell cyanide
The FBI says it has arrested a Texas man who told an undercover agent that he had a 25-gallon drum of cyanide.
Jeffrey don Detrixhe, 38, of Higgins, was taken into custody Monday in southeastern Oklahoma, accoring to the FBI. According to court documents, Higgins told the agent that the poison could be helpful in mass killings.
FBI agents taped conversations in which Detrixhe told an informant about the drum of cyanide, according to court documents. He said he would sell it in exchange for $10,000, a thermal imager and a fully automatic Russian-made AK-47 assault rifle, according to the documents.
He was arrested on a complaint of possession or transfer of a chemical weapon.
