Hollywood private eye guilty of racketeering
It's been a case that has captured the headlines and ensnared some of Hollywood's elite.
On Thursday Anthony Pellicano, private eye to the stars and Hollwood power brokers, was convicted of federal racketeering charges for digging up information that his clients used in lawsuits, divorces and contract disputes.
Some of Hollywood's most powerful figures were caught up in the case. Fourteen people were charged in the and seven of them -- including film director John McTiernan (Die Hard, Predator) and former Hollywood Records president Robert Pfeifer, pleaded guilty to charges including perjury and conspiracy.
