Woman gets life for forcing kids to perform pay-to-view sex shows
Some crimes don't need much time to decide guilt and punishment.
In Tyler on Thursday, a jury needed just four minutes to convict a woman who was an organizer of a swinger's club where, prosecutors said, young children were forced to perform sexual acts for a live audience. It took six minutes for jurors to decide on a life sentence.
The woman, Shauntel Mayo, 29, was convicted on charges that she forced three siblings -- ages 7 through 10 -- to engage in sex with each other or perform sexual acts for club members who had paid to watch the sordid shows.
Her boyfriend, Jamie Pittman, 36, also was found guilty in four minutes in March and was sentenced to life in prison after two minutes of deliberation. Like I said, some things don't need much time to decide.

This story so thoroughly disgusts me to the point where I'm finding myself almost incapable of accepting that this could have even occurred in the first place, but... it did, and that's breaking my heart.
Forget the life sentence imposed on Shauntel (Hot-dammy! She sho' is a looker... Heh-heh-heh)... she should be forced to perform a sex act on the electric chair. I say dust-off 'ol Sparky, and let's get started with the show. Hell... I'll even pay an admission fee!!!

WOW.She should get life as well as her boyfriend. What a bunch of sickos! She did this to her own family! HHMMMMMM !!!!! The death penalty for these kinds of acts is sounding better the more I see and here about child molesters, predators, pedophiles and rapist. They cannot be rehabilitayed. They have no respect for themselves or others and they usually have no remorse.I have said it before and I will say it again. We are tired of supporting these people. They get college degrees, free housing, medical etc while those that truly need it are often denied it.

What I would do to her isn't fit for a family news paper.
That said, I would have told the jurors to have a coke, or coffee and spend at least a half hour in there to avoid some kind of future appeal.
Juries are not suppose to form an opinion until deliberations start. Yea right!
Unfortunatly jurors are people.
