Separate suspects sought in pair of east Arlington rapes
Police are looking for two suspects in two different sexual assaults on women in east Arlington. Police said the attacks are not related and occurred at locations less than two miles apart.
One attack happened right after the victim's husband went to work, at about 6 a.m. at a residence in the 700 block of Glen Rock Place. The second attack happened at H.A.D. Dunsworth Park near the playground at about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday. A woman was walking in the park when a naked man grabbed her, police said.

Fort Worth dad arrested in child injury case
The father of a baby boy taken to Cook Children's Medical Center last month with at least 22 broken bones in different stages of healing was charged Wednesday with injury to a child. Earlier this week, Fort Worth police arrested 25-year-old Phillip Michael Ramirez (right).
His son was 11 weeks old when the boy's mother and her relatives took the infant to the hospital about 11:30 p.m. April 19. They were concerned that the boy's arm didn't look right and that he cried when he was picked up. Hospital staff told police that an examination revealed at least 22 broken bones in different stages of healing -- the break to his arm being the newest.

A crime of unmentionables
A trio of thieves may not have to do laundry for a while.
Two men and a woman shoplifted about 580 pairs of panties Tuesday night from Victoria's Secret at Grapevine Mills mall as clerks attended to other customers, police said. A clerk told police that she had seen the trio standing near the panties bin, then they strolled out of the store. The clerk later noticed that the bin was nearly empty, according to police reports.
