You may recall the March 2008 fatal shootings of a mother and her two sons in an east Texas home. The woman's husband, shot five times, survived by crawling out of their burning house.
The culprits?
The couple's teenage daughter and her boyfriend, who authorities said plotted the killings for weeks because she had been forbidden to date the boy.
That boyfriend, Charlie James Wilkinson, 20, was sentenced Tuesday to life in prison without parole in the killings. His friend, Charles Alan Waid, also received a life sentence in the case for his involvement.
The daughter, Erin Caffey, and 19-year-old Bobbi Johnson also received long sentences.
