The New York Post has a story that tells the twisted way in which a Queens man was dumped in a vat of acid by a henchman of the late gangster John Gotti, right, for accidentally striking Gotti's young son with a car in 1980, killing the 12-year-old.
According to court papers, the newspaper reported, Charles Carneglia, 62, was part of a seven-man hit squad that went after Gotti's neighbor, John Favara, after Favara hit Gotti's son, Frank, who had darted in front of Favara's car on a borrowed dirt bike.
Carnegila apparently preferred disposing of his victims in vats of acid because it left little incriminating evidence. Carneglia even wrote a tutorial on how to use acid for evil purposes, the newspaper reported.
