2 juveniles sought in fatal shooting
Police want to know why two teenagers ran from a parked pickup truck late Monday evening in north Fort Worth.
The flight of the teens -- a male and a female -- might have been disregarded, but a man was found in the vehicle with a gunshot wound to the head.
Abboud Greig, 74, died later at John Peter Smith Hospital at 8:30 p.m., according to the Tarrant County medical examiner.

Officer shoots armed robbery suspect in Plano
A police officer shot a man who was attempting to rob a hotel employee late Tuesday morning in Plano, according to a report.
The incident happened at 11:15 a.m. at a La Quinta Inn on U.S. 75, also called Central Expressway, police said. The officer encountered a suspect who refused to drop his weapon, so the officer shot him, police said.

Wounded man: Drug dealers mistook him for rival
A case of mistaken identity may have resulted in a man getting shot in the leg late Monday outside a shelter in east Fort Worth, police said.
Police responding to a 911 call found a 54-year-old man lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to the left leg.
He told officers that he believed he was mistaken for another person who normally stands on the corner of Cypress and East Presidio and sells drugs.
Officers learned that two groups of drug dealers are reportedly in a dispute over the area.

Woman hurt trying to recover purse from teen
A 40-year-old woman wasn't about to let a teenage girl steal her purse in a grocery store parking lot in northeast Fort Worth.
According to police, she tried to pull her purse through the open passenger window of the getaway car, but the driver accelerated.
The woman finally let go as the car turned out of the parking lot. She lost her purse and received bumps and scratches instead, police said.

Brawl leads to shooting in east Fort Worth
Police don't know what a group of people were arguing about when a man drove into his driveway Monday night in the 5700 block of Meadowbrook Drive.
The man just wanted the people off his property, so he ordered them to leave, but one of them punched him in the head, which knocked his glasses off and put him on the ground.
People inside his house came out to help, but one of the arguers pulled out a pistol and fired at least three rounds.
