Man jumps to his death after molestation conviction

A man convicted hours before of molesting a child later jumped to his death from a courthouse balcony in Santa Ana, Calif.

Police say that Carlos Edward Tello was facing more than 20 years in prison and that he jumped from the ninth-floor balcony with a suicide note tucked into his clothing.

A bailiff reportedly tried to stop Tello before the man jumped.
