Mom's boyfriend accused in child's death

The mother of 1-year-old Jacob Rodriguez and her live-in boyfriend Luis Sosa Jr. went to parenting classes, individual and couple counseling and drug treatment after the boy suffered a black eye in April 2006. Child Protective Services suspected Sosa was to blame.

Now Jacob is dead and Sosa is in jail, accused of the fatal beating of the child.

Man wasn't sleeping, he was dead

Maintenance workers tried to roust a man they thought was sleeping on the porch, but then they saw the blood. Police say he appears to have a fatal head wound.

Man beat to death at ex-wife's home

A North Richland Hills man who had divorced from his wife for about three years went to her home Monday and got into a fight with her boyfriend -- a fight that resulted in him getting beat to death.
