Gross pizza restaurant pranks lead to criminal charges

Two former employees of a North Carolina pizza restaurant have been charged with "distributing prohibited foods," by authorities after a YouTube video showed one of them stuffing cheese up a nostril and waving salami under his rear end.

Officials say the gross conduct was done by Michael Anthony Setzer while he was being videotaped by Kristy Lynn Hammonds. Needless to say, both of them have been fired from their jobs with Domino's.

While the video seems to show some of the tainted ingredients actually going onto a sandwich, the company said none of the food was actually sent out to customers.

Woman injected foul-smelling liquid into baby food, police say

Police have arrested a woman in Tamarac, Fla., after she was spotted injected a foul-smelling liquid into baby food at a supermarket.

Employees at a Publix store saw her and reported it to police. The black liquid had an ammonia smell, authorities said. She apparently had not tampered with baby food at any other stores, police said. She's been sent for a mental evaluation.

Police: Burglar woke Calif. men with spice rub, sausage attack

A Fresno man was beaten with an eight-inch sausage Saturday morning during an apparent burglary attempt, shortly after the the burglar rubbed spices on the victim's roommate, according to police.

Fresno police arrested a 22-year-old man in connection with the incident shortly after the attack.

"It seems the guy ran out of the house wearing only a T-shirt, boxer shorts and socks, leaving behind his wallet with his ID," Fresno County sheriff Lt. Ian Burrimond told the Fresno Bee.

The spices and the sausage both came from the victim's kitchen, according to the report.

As for the weapon -- a dog ate it after the suspect threw it out.

This isn't the only violent sausage-related incident in recent history. Don't forget the Florida woman whose son hit her with three pounds of Polish sausage and the Milwaukee Brewers' '03 Sausagegate scandal.
