Cute video. Although I agree that no one is interested in higher taxes, I still cannot find any pro-tollers that can explain to me how it is fair that the tolls I pay to use 121 will be funding road projects all over North Texas? And please do not tell me I can choose not to take the pay road or I can use the "free" service road. If you can explain to me how I can get from Frisco to say the Las Colinas area every morning in under two hours without using a tollway I might accept that argument. I have always equated paying for our roads to funding our public schools and have yet to hear an adequate rebuttal from a pro-toller. I have no children attending public schools. By pro-toller logic, I should not have to pay that annoying part of my annual property tax bill labeled Frisco ISD. But somehow, I still have to shell out of my pocket for other people's kids to attend public school. It is unfortunate that our politicians in Austin have let the situation get this far, but roads are like public schools, they are a vital part of our state's well being and infrastructure. We should ALL have to pay, and the fairest way to do that is through the gas tax.
