Another look at Exxon Mobil's profit

Exxonmobillogo_2 Just how big is Exxon Mobil's $11.68 billion second-quarter profit?

At the current price of $3.77 a gallon in Fort Worth, it's enough to buy
3.1 billion gallons of gasoline ... or
10.3 gallons for every man, woman and child in America.Handsacrossamerica_2

How far could you go on 3.1 billion gallons of gasoline?
At 20 mpg, you could travel 155 million miles !!!

Moon_2 That's the equivalent of traveling to the moon and back 324 times.

I should be a stockholder!

At roughly 132 billion in sales that is < $10 in profit. Do you feel the need to report that for the $12 billion in profit that Exxon paid $32 billion in taxes? Didn't think so. BTW what exactly is wrong with an American company making money?
