The Case-mate Privacy Screen Pro provides protection from prying eyes while allowing viewing at angle starting at 45-degrees from the device's surface.

It works both horizontally and vertically, and is easy to install. Prices vary, depending on the model.

But here's a cheaper suggestion. Just don't check your bank statement in a crowd. Just a thought...

Laptops in style

Brittoweb NVSpc Corporation has expand its customizable notebook line.

They've added the following; 12.1” and 15.4” Panasonic Toughbooks; the 14.1” Acer Aspire; 12.1” Acer TravelMate; and 14.1”, 15.4” and 17” HP Pavilion notebooks.

The company offers free personalization of one panel on each of these notebooks including personalization options of an extensive design portfolio, and the option for customers to upload their own images for painting.

Home alarm system without a phone

Lasershield_2 LaserShield Systems, Inc. has announced the “Cyclone,” a wireless GSM adapter, which works with the LaserShield Instant Security System.

This is for consumers who do not have land line phones or even those who want added protection against an intruder cutting wired phone lines.

When installed, the Cyclone, does not need a phone line since it connects with the cellular GSM network directly. The unit is connected to the LaserShield 105-decibel master alarm unit by a short phone cord.

When the alarm detects a security or panic situation, the LaserShield siren sounds and sends a signal through Cyclone to the monitoring service over the GSM digital cellular network.

New MacBook's from Apple

Macbook This week, Apple has rolled out new models of its laptops: MacBook and MacBook Pro.

They both have the Intel Core 2 Duo processors. The MacBook Pro has up to a 2.6GHz processor, a 300GB hard drive and the Apple exclusive Multi-Touch trackpad.

The MacBook has three models with faster processors and hard drives with 120GB or 160GB.

Prices for the MacBook Pro starts at $1,999 and the MacBook at $1,099.

XtremeMac charge and play

XtremeMac has a new charger, the InCharge FM for the Apple iPod ,that will charge the device and at the same time transmit the audio from the iPod to an FM radio.

Xtreme It delivers a clean, clear sound, almost near CD quality. On one end of the plug is a connection to power it from a standard 12 volt power outlet found in automobiles (cigarette lighter plug) and has an Apple standard iPod dock connector on the other end.

To work the device, just turn your FM stereo to a clear station in your area, set the InCharge FM to the same station and push play.

A display has all the buttons needed to operate the iPod; play/pause and next track controls along with station preset buttons. This allows you to keep the clear stations set for different cities. The FM station is also displayed on the toggle.

Drive Fantom Drives has new innovator storage systems with new multiple RAID options available in 1.0 TB, 1.5 TB and 2.0 TB capacities.

The newest drives' in the G-Force MegaDisk series have both the eSATA and USB 2.0 interface enabling users to choose between the high performance (300 MB/S) eSATA or the more ubiquitous (60 MB/S) USB 2.0 interfaces.
