More toilets
For some unknown reason (?) the heated toilet seat (see below) is what everyone wants to talk to me about since coming home from the CES show in Las Vegas.
Thanks to Adam R. for supplying this video link on even more toilet information.

Beside big TVs and other electronic items, CES is famous for the weird and cool gadgets.
So Tuesday afternoon I went over to see all the displays at the Sands Expo and Convention Center. The booths and displays are much more fun with more realistic stuff for everyday usage.
I got to the Sands at 3p.m. and since it closes at 5p.m., I was walking at a fast pace to see as much as I could. But when I saw a toilet seat sitting on a table, I had to stop and ask.
Turns out, it's the TolePure warm water washing heated toilet seat from db Commerce. Currently available only in Japan but the owners are looking for distributors here in the USA.
Features of the unit include a heated seat, self cleaning nozzle and a pressure wash.
Very often I get a demonstration of a device, but............ NOT!
Lexar Media and Eye-Fi announced a new memory card to be available soon. The SD memory card will have the Eye-Fi technology and will allow photos to be sent directly from their digital cameras to their computer or a favorite online photo site.
That's about all I know about it but be assured I'll post a review when I get one in the next few weeks.
Cell phones, iPods, whatever needs a charge can get their power from the WildCharger. Just put the devices on the pad and they instantly start to charge to get their needed power.
The charger is not out yet, but just click here for information.
At the Alienware display at CES, they were showing off a monitor equivalent to two 24-inch monitors built together. With a resolution of 2880 x 900, the picture was great and gamers will love to get their hands on it. It's still in development and I couldn't even get a company exec to guess at a price or a release date.
The planning for the displays at the 2008 CES exhibit must take an incredible amount of setup time. All the big companies seem to try to top their competitors.
You can spend the day - not looking at the specific products but just checking out the booths. Imagine how many products have to be sold to make it worthwhile.
One of Panasonic's hand out photos really shows how big the new 150-inch TV is.
If you thought last year's 103-inch was big, look at them side by side.
The 2008 CES show has thousands of vendors, from over 140 countries, displaying their products over 1.8 million square feet of floor space. I won't be able to see it all, in fact, I won't even see half of it, but the one thing I would want is the 150-inch TV Panasonic showed off on Monday.
Last night brought me to the Wynn Hotel for the Showstoppers event to see about 100 vendors. Getting there a little early, I made another trip to the Casino for some slots -- I might as well just put my money in the trash.
But a small consolation -- they had some great Sushi at the event.
On the way out -- more slots and I have nothing to report.
I took a walk over to Pioneer to see the new line of TVs, which are only 9mm thick. I wanted to get a photo of my cell phone next to the TV to compare the two for a story scheduled to be in Wednesday's Star-Telegram.
Don't even think about it!
They have the TV displayed for looking only. Getting close to it would not have been worth the risk!
