Hillary looking for "firewall" in Texas

Hillary Clinton is in the Rio Grande Valley this morning, where she will start trying to build a Texas firewall against the blazing Barack Obama, who has finally claimed the frontrunner label. There's already a long line of people waiting outside the McAllen Convention Center, and there's talk of an overflow crowd. I'm headed there now, so stay tuned.

Eddiearmscrossed_2 Of course, the press is on big time for the Hispanic vote, which Clinton has been winning by about a two-to-one margin in many of the previous contests.

In South Texas, most of the political establishment is behind her, but the Obama campaign is picking off younger Latinos and hopes to generate the kind of prairie-fire enthusiasm we've seen elsewhere.

Check out my story that shows how the mad scramble for endorsements has put Sen. Eddie Lucio, D-Brownsville, and his son, Rep. Eddie Lucio III, D-Brownsville, on opposite teams.

Texas its time to vote>

If the economy and health care are not important to you, vote McCain. He says he knows nothing about the economy but he will keep the war going.

If you believe in Hucklebee's mircles, he might be your man.
If you believe in one liners and rhetoric as that is Obama's platform, vote for him. He has no resume for experience but he says he can make change?

If health care and the economy are important to you, vote Hillary. She has a long and tried resume.

Its that simply.

Is media biased in using Sen Hillary Rodham Clinton middle name while omitting Sen. Barack Obama's midlle name which is "HUSSEIN". Just asking.

Here's the AP Stylebook entry on middle names: "Use them only with people who are publicly known that way (James Earl Jones), or to prevent confusion with people of the same name." Most media outlets follow that rule or use a similar variation.

Best reason to date to support Obama.
