Perry rattles conservative base

Perrymansion4If you want to know how grassroots conservatives have reacted to Gov. Rick Perry's endorsements of GOP mavericks Rudy Giuliani and John McCain, check out what radio talk show host Adam McManus is saying. McManus says Perry is on thin ice with his base voters, or, as he told me: "You'd have to conclude that the marriage between Perry and his conservative base is in real trouble.''

Perry dismisses talk that he's come unhinged from his ideological moorings. But is the guv running again or is he trying to get a federal job? Check out what folks are saying about it.
