Perry's book debuts at No. 1 on Post's list
Gov. Rick Perry's new book ``On My Honor: Why the American Values of the Boy Scouts Are Worth Fighting For,'' has come out punching. The $25.95 hardcover debuted at No. 1 on the Washington Post's bestseller list for nonfiction.
In a press release, the Gov's staff points out that he came out on top of ``such notables'' as Madeleine Albright, Stephen Colbert, Ann Coulter and Newt Gingrich.
Literary-minded Democrats can take heart, Barack Obama's 1995 memoir, ``Dreams From My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance,'' is No. 3 on the paperback nonfiction list. It's been there for 85 weeks.
