Presidential candidates target of loaded anti-gun ad (with video)

This new ad, which calls on all three remaining presidential candidates to put up or shut up regarding the so-called gun show loophole, comes from Mayors Against Illegal Guns. North Texans may have seen it run during "Meet The Press" on NBC on Sunday.

Three Texas mayors are members of the group, including, locally, Hurst Head Honcho Richard Ward.

Legislation to close an imaginary "gun show loophole" is in fact legislation to prohibit the private sale of firearms.

There is no such thing as a gun show loophole, and, less than 2% of firearms use by felons came from gun shows. Many of those were straw purchases by family and friends.

All firearms transactions at a gun show follow the exact same local, state and federal laws as any other firearm transaction.

I am not the JR above but I agree wholeheartedly. This is just another step in curtailing what little gun rights we have left. What do Mayors know about criminals and guns? I am a Peace Officer in Texas and their claim is crap. It will limit the opportunity for a law abiding citizen to buy a firearm to protect themselves from the criminal.

With all three of these jokers claiming they will crack down on your rights the future does not look too good. Look into Ron Pauls stance on gun rights, he's still running.
