Ron Paul supporters set sights on Barnes & Noble, then...The World!!
While local Republicans worry about whether next month's state convention will be commandeered by Ron Paul supporters, Paulites online are busy with more important stuff...
Like why Barnes & Noble opposes the Texas congressman's revolution!
A conversation on RonPaulForums.com has focused on why Barnes & Noble stores aren't prominently displaying Paul's new book, The Revolution, even though it's the #1 nonfiction book on the NY Times bestseller list (it's currently ranked #8 on Amazon.com and #30 on BN.com).
The Paul Army is considering two solutions to this apparent betrayal:
1) Sue Barnes & Noble for "false advertising/fraud" (seriously)
2) Sneak into book stores around the country and move copies of Paul's books to more high-profile locations.
The following comments from the Paul forum sums up the debate pretty well:
--"True, not everything is a conspiracy, but these big box outfits are not promoting this truly bestselling book the way they did Obamas drivel or Hillarys socialist screed...They don't want people to have liberty and knowledge, they are part of the propaganda ministry."
--"I walk by the local Barnes & Noble on the way to the bagle[sic] shop every day, and if I have time, I run in and set up my own display of The Revolution...People look at you funny when you carry a large stack of the books to the front of the store, but c'est la vie."
--"I picked up a copy at the local Barnes and Noble. They cleverly 'hid it in the "politics" section...Guys, Barnes and Noble ain't 'hiding' anything- they want to sell as many books as possible- and they really don't care if its written by Ron Paul, Hillary Clinton, John McCain, or Adolf Hitler. Remember, not everything that isn't just the way you like it is a 'conspiracy.'"
*As of Monday, The Revolution was not on the Nonfiction best-seller shelf at the downtown Fort Worth Barnes & Noble. It was on a table with other political books marked "Current Affairs" between the magazine rack and the cafe area. Of course, who knows if the store or a "customer" placed it there...*

Who cares, I would rather buy it cheaper from Amazon and have it delivered to my door.

I suspect the DISPLAYS and locations are decided at a level far above local retail store and that very little latitude is allowed. Its hard not to see this as just another plank in the absolutely, undeniable, extremel obvious attempt to keep RP's message of hope, freedom, and prosperity from the people - better to feed them socialist communist drivel from the candidates of the main stream from both wings of the party. It would be interesting to know why the store isn't FEATURING the book here in Paul's HOME STATE at least...

Ron Paul's followers are somewhat scary in their off the wall over the edge attitudes.

Ron Paul is a true American hero. Write him in if he isn't on the ballet.
