Clinton supporter planning "holy chaos" for Obama camp
Ed Hale and his feisty flock are nearing action.
The Texas rancher's web site for Hillary Clinton supporters planning to back John McCain over Barack Obama has attracted thousands of supporters along with ridicule and investigations online.
Now he's launching a 527 political action committee intent on sending a message to the Democratic National Committee: put Clinton at the top of the ticket or her die-hard supporters will defect to the GOP.
Hale predicted he'd easily raise the money for his first goal: a full page ad in the Chicago Sun-Times warning DNC Chairman Howard Dean and superdelegates about their intentions.
After that, the group hopes to run ads in the New York Times and in publications in swing states, he said.
"We're going to create holy chaos in the Democratic Party," Hale said.

So, blackmailing is OK now? And, if Hillary had won, would Barack's supporters be demanding that he should be on the top of the ticket?
Enough is enough...sore loser!

They are a bunch of noise makers with no teeth to bite! They couldn't stop obama during the primaries and they can't stop him now! It is too late.
I am pleading with them to defect to GOP, no need for their ill advised warnings and threats. Nobody will miss them. Come november, what will be will be! Far majority of Americans will vote for obama! We don't need racists and rednecks in our party. Ed hale and feisty flocks my foot!! They may be attracting thousands to their website, but obama is attracting millions!! Both democrats and republicans. Let them go to hell for all i care!

Ed Hale would appear to be a child who if he dosen't play by his rules, he won't play at all.
Take your ball and go home.

What an idiot!! Someone who is that wrapped up in themselves should really be encouraging Nader to run again, they're not wanting to improve anything, they just make a grandstanding spectacle out of themselves..any REAL DEMOCRAT would never vote for McCain!

The political posturing in our country is done by those who are hungry for power and greedy for financial gains. Most of us know this simple fact by reading our history. Now, I think I have a 'common sense' approach to help solve some of our problems. First, realize that our Constitution is not a living docuement. Our constitution is a 'CONTRACT' between "we the people" telling the government what they are allowed to do. Those people who swear an allegiance to defend our constituation yet don't, should be impeached or expelled from their duties. Lets make term limits on all branches of government including the Supreme Court Justices. Absoultly do not allow Justices to legislate. Their sole purpose is to defend established laws. DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING TO INTERPRETATION! These simple suggestions will go a long way in keeping most people honest.

What idiots these people are! Never was the old saying "cut off your nose to spite your face" more appropriate. Self-ingratiating morons like these people are a direct reflection of why Clinton LOST the nomination. God forbid, should McCain win, these dimwits will be reason for reinventing tar and feathering.

People doing investigations online? Wouldn't it be neato if we had institutions that gathered news by investigating things and then printed the results, either on teh interwebs or possibly on paper that could be delivered to your door.

Americans have a chance to repair their sorry image abroad by electing Obama. If they miss it they will have to continue to pretend to be canadians when abroad to recieve good reception. This cliton suporter is just misguided and frustrated but i'm sure there are alot of sane people out there to make right choices and bury the bush story in the bush once and for all.

The Star-Telegram has been bamboozled. Ed Hale has never contributed a dime to Clinton or any other Democrat (according to both Federal and Texas campaign finance disclosures). He did contribute $400 four years ago to defeat Kerry for president. Rather than just quoting the numbers Hale provides for hits to his site, how about doing some real investigative reporting and asking his Internet service provider how many distinct IP addresses had accessed the site before the Star-Telegram began giving Hale free advertising?

People like Ed Hale are the reason Sen. Clinton lost the primary. There is already a name for someone who voted for her and now will vote for McCain: Republicans.

I find this so pathetic that it's almost funny. Looking at Obama and Clinton's ideologies side by side reveals many more similarities than differences. The same cannot be said when pairing either Obama's or Clinton's ideas with those of John McCain. What kind of intellect or logic would lead people to vote for someone so different in policy and ideology simply because their preferred candidate did not win the nomination? Call it what it is...sour grapes. Vote with your brain - or don't vote at all.

This guy is so typical of what you find in the junkyards of Texas. There is a code of decent behavior that applies to everyone else, and a completely different code that applies only to them.
In addition, they are completely content to bite off their own nose to spite their face. While Obama had nothing to do with any sexist comments during the primaries, McCain had no problems with one of his supporters referring to Ms. Clinton as "the bitch." He also has no problems with supporters who think rape is funny. So when Ms. Clinton loses the primaries, who do you support? An extremist who was responsible for the sexist comments that her supporters are so indignant about of course. With knucleheads like this on the loose, is there any wonder that the Texas secondary school system is dead last in the nation? We can't even say "Thank God for Mississippi anymore."

There isn't a good candidate running for President. What we need is a good independent that knows how to run a buisness or at least has common sense. How about Bill Gates or Ross Perot -(although he is a little to close to a communist) I am going to write in Ted Nugent for President, I bet he can straighten out the corrupt politicians !

You can vote for Cynthia McKinney instead of either main candidate. She has many of the same positions as Hillary or Barack. A third party candidate is not a bad idea you know. Neither Cynthia or Barack have too much experience, but Cynthia is a little less overconfident. Cynthia has more reasonable views than McCain with social views more similar to the democrats and she is for gay rights. Cynthia is more familiar with health care than either of the two main candidates.

DEMOCRATIC POLITICS!
HOW DO YOU LIKE ME NOW?
Posted by: Robert Herrera | June 18, 2008 at 11:59 AM
Isn't Ed Hale actually a conservative who wants John McCain to win? Isn't his real goal to keep the Republicans in power? Will people fall for this charade of his? Will the media fall for it?
Posted by: SteveN | June 18, 2008 at 12:05 PM
You voted in a democratic congess...now look what happened to the economy. Now you want to vote in a terrorist lover. Hillary or John will not hold their hands like obama wants to. It'll be the beginning of the end for the USA.

It's funny to see democrats do this to each other. This is the same kind of nonsense they normally pull on the republicans. Isn't that right Harry Reid. A little taste of their own medicene.

Just more proof Clinton supporters are a bunch of wingnuts.
Posted by: Todd | June 18, 2008 at 12:32 PM
Wow - such hateful biased comments coming from the elite, enlightened Dems? Who would have thought???

It seems to me an insult to Hillary for all these women supporters to go and vote for McCain. The argument of 'sexism' gets thrown out the window. There will always be 'reactionaries', people who cannot contain their emotions to things in a rational manner. But women who voted for Hillary, I thought, were serious feminists. It doesn't seem to be the case. Real feminists would not behave in this irrational kind of behavior! Think of the future of your country rather then your own self interests 'to win'. Grow Up!!!

The real supporters of Obama are the controllers of this country's oligarchic media and the willfully ignorant electorate
that the media propaganda control. Hillary, to me, is simply a less radical socialist than the Marxist Obama and his wife. So, if
you're going to go chaos, expose the media and their money sources. McCain is simply the lesser of two incompetents. He too is incompetent to govern. Plausible leaders
were eliminated by early money and propaganda
