Craig Goldman comes out a winner

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- One of the biggest smiles in the Texas section at the Republican convention belonged to Fort Worth native Craig Goldman.

Goldman, part of candidate John McCain's fundraising team, ran for the Texas House last fall.

But opponents used his connections against him. One Republican opponent even slammed him for his ties to "amnesty backer" and "liberal" McCain.

He stood cheering McCain this week alongside some of those same Republicans.
