Tom DeLay: Obama's Joe Biden pick "arrogant," "stupidest"

ST. PAUL, Minn -- Former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay has been here all week at Republican corporate parties, and he showed up at a public breakfast today to blast Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden.

Asked about Republican running mate Sarah Palin, DeLay instead called Biden "the stupidest pick politically."

"Everybody knew that if they picked Hillsry Clinton, they would win," DeLay said. Instead, presidential candidate Barack Obama picked someone "as arrogant as himself," DeLay said. "[Biden] brings nothing to the campaign."
