CNBC reporter Rick Santelli's rant against President Barack Obama's bailout plan last week continues to gain traction.
Santelli become a folk hero of sorts last week for angrily accusing the Obama administration of "promoting bad behavior" with its $75 billion plan to bailout Americans on the brink of foreclosure. Santelli's plan to throw some sort of tea party in Chicago to highlight the issue could grow into a high-profile national protest.
Tea party rallies are being planned in over a dozen cities including Fort Worth and Houston.
The Fort Worth event, details of which have popped up on Craigslist and elsewhere, will be from 3pm to 7pm, at Cowtown Sports Bar & Grill on Camp Bowie. Word about the local rally is spreading via Twitter.
Last week, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said Santelli "doesn't know what he's talking about."
Like-minded activists around the country clearly disagree.
This clip of Santelli's rally cry has received over 600,000 hits on YouTube.

Santelli's next rant could be to ask America ..... Yes or No? Are you better off now than you were before Obama became Prez?

The people know somethings up regardless of Santelli's outcry but I am glad he did it. All but the most cultist followers of Obama can see that something is wrong with the direction he is taking us. People all over the country are waking up and calling for a real change. Maybe we wont have to wait a whole four years before we get it.

It's time that the people of this country start acting like people not the sheep that the libs/dems think they are.

Show me the journalist? This guy is a grandstander and will get his next pay raise for the ratings bump. The sheeple who follow this "It's not for me because I don't understand it." are the reason we are in this mess, 8 years with bush sound familiar?
On the bright side he is a poster child for the fair doctrine act.
Is sedition still a crime?
