Bishop Kevin Vann of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth has issued a letter instructing Catholics that voting for a candidate who supports legal abortion is "morally impermissible."
It was read in Mass on Sunday in some if not all churches.

Nationally, the Catholic Church has taken a more active role in this entire political campaign.
Last month, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops even published a statement challenging Sen. Joe Biden's stance opposing abortions but supporting privacy.
