Two former 'Idol' contestants are 'One'

Missed this the other day -- Michael Johns (who, as I'm sure you're tired of me saying, is married to Fort Worth's Stacey Vuduris) and Carly Smithson didn't make it to the American Idol finale, but they did do a duet of U2's One on Ellen the other day. Not 100 percent perfect -- I think Carly especially overdoes it -- but not the abomination an Achtung Baby fan like me might fear. -- Robert Philpot
