OK, we had .03 inches of rainfall at DFW during the 3 o'clock hour, which means we're now at 4.59 inches of rainfall for the month of July, and that puts us at #10 on the Top 10 list. We need about a half-inch more to move up a slot.

We had some rain this afternoon with heavy drops in the Euless area (and a pretty evening rainbow), but nothing registered at DFW to affect the monthly July total...

We're at 4.56 inches for the month of July. The #10 spot on the all-time wet July list is .02 inches away...

Just called over to the Parker County Peach Festival and it's on schedule for 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow. (They're enjoying a bumper crop of peaches this year so it would be a shame if the storms intervened. Right now the local Weatherford forecast calls for a possible morning shower with scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon, 40 percent precip.)
