It's not supposed to get above 49 degrees Thursday, although it'll be nice and sunny. Windy too, with gusts to 25 mph, according to the National Weather Service. It'll be right at freezing Thursday night, with wind gusts up to 20 mph.
But don't fret. It won't be as bad as it's been the last couple of days, and it'll get a bit warmer Friday, with highs approaching 60. The low will be above 50, according to the weather service. If you're the kind who worries about what you'll wear in the weather ... well, that's just the way you are.
Note that we're under a fire weather watch Thursday because of the windy and dry conditions in North Texas. So don't be playing with matches outside or throwing your lit cigarette butts out the pickup window.
Saturday and Sunday will be darn near Spring-like with highs around 70, if the weather service is to be believed, although it looks like the wind will kick up both days as well. The lows will be in the mid-50s.
In a nutshell: It'll be cold Thursday, not so much over the weekend. And sunny throughout. Not a rain cloud in sight. Keep yourself warm and enjoy.
